We will come and pick you up at 8am by 4x4, in your accommodation place.

You will drive on the tarred road to leave the plains of Marrakech. Desert landscapes with olive trees and prickly pear cactuses.

You will then depart for Ouarzazate, the door that opens to the Great South, via Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260 meters high) across the chain of mountains of the High Atlas offering various scenery and small villages built in tiers. The town is located in a desert plateau at the foot of the snowy summits of the High Atlas. Ouarzazate, established in 1928 under the French protectorate does not look like a traditional moroccan town. This time, there is no Medina but large avenues criss-crossing the town.

In the eighties, the town was formed to be the departure for tourist excursions in the Sahara. Opposite the craft centre, you can see the Taourirt kasbah appearing like a mirage. It used to be the residence of the Pacha of Marrakech, it is probably the most beautiful Kasbah in Morocco. It is a Unesco World Heritage Site and so is the Aït Ben Haddou located around thirty kilometers from the town, which is famous for its films shot there like “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The sheltering sky”, “Gladiator” or else “Asterix and Cleopatra”…..

You will have lunch in Ouarzazate and departure to the Fint oasis. It is situated ten kilometers away from the road that links Marrakech to Zagora, before entering the Draa Valley which extends for 200 km, lined with oases and fortified villages. This beautiful oasis comprises of four villages: Tahrbildt, Ouangharf, Timoula and Tigidekh.

To your own convenience, you will have time to stroll and visit the villages famous for the wonderful scenery they offer to the tourists and to the local berber life. (It's interesting if you do some light walking). 

Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

*The stop in Ouarzazate can be removed in order to better enjoy first Fint oasis crossing Ouarzazate without stopping and then Aït Ben Haddou village taking lunch on the place...On the road driving you to the Fint oasis, it would be possible to make a detour via the movie studios.
