DAY-1: Marrakech-Telouet-Aït Ben Haddou-Skoura palm plantation
We come and pick you up at around 9am at your accomodation place. Departure towards Ouarzazate through the High Atlas by the Tizi'nt Tichka pass (2,26O meters high) literaly the pass of pastures. This mountainous chain offers very various and beautiful landscapes and the sight of many small villages built in tiers. After the pass, you leave the road to reach a secondary road which carries out to the Telouet kasbah, ancestral residence of the Pasha Glaoui of Marrakech. After the visit of the kasbah and the lunch on the spot, you cross the previous Telouet trail just recently renovated which used to exchange the products of the sub-Sahara Africa with Marrakech. You arrive by the nice Ounila valley at Aït Ben Haddou village. After the stop for visiting this magic place, you take the direction that goes to the Dades valley to reach the Skoura oasis for about 40 km away of Ouarzazate. Dinner and bed in a pleasant guest house with swimming pool and bio-aromatic garden which its used for cooking.
DAY-2: Skoura palm plantation-Ouarzazate-Fint oasis-Marrakech
After breakfast, discover of the beautiful Skoura oasis with its douar and kasbah like the Amerdihil Kasbah. Then you take the direction of Ouarzazate again for visiting the Taourirt Kasbah classified with the world inheritance of Unesco too. After having lunch, you go then toward Fint oasis on the road driving you to Zagora.This nice palm grove is composed of four villages known for the splendid sights that they offer to the travellers 1200 people live there. It is interesting to see with some light walking the traditional life which proceeds there, in particular the system of irrigation for the agriculture. You go back to Marrakech by the asphalt road at the end of the afternoon.
*a small suggestion: the guest house makes it possible to stay all the morning at Skoura to walk with a guide in the palm plantation and to have lunch at the local's people home. A good typical meal no more expensive than in small restaurant... The afternoon, the driver would seek you around 2pm. You would visit Ouarzazate (Taourirt kasbah) before return back by the asphalt road at Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
The whole tour has plenty of time to stop for photos, as suits you.
