DAY-1 : Marrakech via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass

Pick up at 9am from your accomodation. You will head in the direction of the Tizi-n-Test via a beautiful mountain road. On route you will visit the Tin-Mel mosque, dating from the 12th century qnd one of the rare mosques, along with Hassan II in Casablanca, which is open to non-muslims. Lunch will be just after the pass (2100m) in a little restaurant with a magnificent view over the Souss plain. You will then descend down towards the plain, the road travelling through groves of Argan and almond trees, and bordering on the left the flank of the djebel Siroua. Arrival at Taroudant, traditional capital of Souss, at the foot of the High Atlas mountains. Dinner and bed in a pleasant guest house with swimming pool. 

DAY-2 : Taroudant-Taliouine-Tazenakht-Aït Ben Haddou 

After breakfast, free time to visit the town. Then departure towards Ouarzazate, crossing the djebel Siroua. You will pass by Talaouine, the saffron capital and by Tazenakht; an important carpet weaving centre, after a scenic descent across a desert plateau. You will then arrive in the Ouarzazate region and will rejoin a friendly guest house in  Ait Ben Haddou. Dinner and bed. 

DAY-3 : Aït Ben Haddou-l'oasis de Skoura-the Dades gorges

After breakfast and a visit to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site, you will head in the direction of the Dadès Valley. On the way, you will visit the oasis at Skoura and follow a long and beautiful track from Toundoute, in the Imgham valley, to Bou Tharar. This will take you to the beginning of the Dadès Gorges. You will continue along a route bordered with little orchards and rock formations called "Monkey Fingers". Arrival at the end of the day at the head of the gorges, where you will stay in a welcoming inn run by Berbers. Dinner and bed. 

DAY-4 : The Dades gorges-Ouarzazate-Marrakech

After breakfast you will have time to, if you wish, look around this beautiful area place a little more. Then you will head towards Ouarzazate via the Valley of the Roses. You will have a stop in Ouarzazate, an old garrison town that dates to 1928, during the French protectorate. The kasbah is well worth visiting. Return to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon via the High Atlas, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2300m).

The whole tour has plenty of time to stop for photos, as suits you.
