Essaouira is a bewitching town notorious for its craft activity where Gnaoua music fills the air.

It is also a charming little place, very special for its white and blue houses. Previously called Mogador, Essaouira will remind you of the Greek islands, as well as Saint-Malo in France for its fortress walls.

Essaouira is the closest beach town to Marrakech and is as well an ideal place to relax, have contact with the local people or have a wander in the Medina which has remained authentic.

You will have a chance to taste the fresh fish caught locally that very morning for lunch, go shopping in the middle of craftsmen who work thuya burl and shark skin or else enjoy the seaside resort.
