Located around 1,870 meters high after the Tizi-n-Tichka pass on the way to Zagora, Telouet is overlooked by a Kasbah. It was the home of the Pacha Glaoui of Marrakech and the starting point of a trail followed in the past by the caravanners to exchange in Marrakech merchandises coming from sub-Saharan Africa.

After the visit, you will reach by trail just recently tarred the wonderful Aït Ben Haddou village, like a ”sand castle” standing as if by magic. It is a Unesco world heritage site.
